Fletcher Wolfe perhaps is best known as the founder and director for 45 years of the world-famous Atlanta Boy Choir. However, his early career was that of a distinguished opera and concert singer.
Making his solo debut at New Yorks Carnegie Hall, Mr Wolfe was a recitalist both in America and abroad. He will be remembered for his long relationship with the worlds greatest music teacher, Nadia Boulanger. He and Mlle Boulanger performed together in concerts and master classes in France, and he was honored to be chosen to give first performances of works by many of her famous composers. French composer Jean Françaix accompanied him in the world premiere performance of the now famous LAdieu de Monsigneur le Duc de Sully.
On coming to Atlanta, Georgia, Mr Wolfe established the Atlanta Chamber Opera Co, The Fletcher Wolfe Chorale, and The Georgia Festival of the Arts in Italy. He received Italys highest honor, Commander of the Italian Republic, presented by President Pertini at the Quirinale Palace. He has also been made Knight of Malta at Romes famous Villa Giulia, with the Knights present and presided over by the Prime Minister Amintore Fanfani. In 2001, he was made a Russian Knight of Malta and invited to conduct the Glinka Choir and Orchestra at the reopening of Emperor Pauls Gatchina Palace outside St. Petersburg. Mr Wolfe spent his latter career alongside his mentor and lifelong friend, Robert Shaw. He and Mr Shaw both received a Grammy Award for their performances and recording of Benjamin Brittens War Requiem. The Atlanta Boy Choir is proud to have Mr. Wolfe once again as director.

Father Ford brought Ricky to audition for the Atlanta Boy Choir and, during the fourteen years of his experience in the organization, he sang throughout the world – including Europe and Third World countries.
Ricky has performed in major concerts with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and has also performed as featured soloist with the Atlanta Pops Orchestra under the direction of Albert Coleman. Ricky is married to Tomika (Easter) Victrum, and they are deeply proud of their beautiful eighteen-year-old daughter, Tierra.

Summer Tour, June 2012
The Atlanta Boy Choir has appeared many times with Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Conductors Robert Shaw and Yoel Levi and under the direction of founder, Fletcher Wolfe, won a Grammy Award for the recording of Benjamin Brittens War Requiem.
The choir will perform both a Fall and Spring concert series this year and is planning an Alaskan Concert tour this summer. This tour will include places where Mr. Wolfe and the choir are well known and will provide the boys with once in a lifetime opportunities to sing in major concerts and experience another part of our world.
Atlantans and particularly thousands of boys who have gone through the choirs ranks are most excited about the return of Mr. Wolfe to the Atlanta Boy Choir. We are pleased to also have Dr. Lawrence Weaver, Morehouse University and University of Michigan graduate, as Assistant Director and Accompanist.
Fletcher Wolfe has returned as Director of the Atlanta Boy Choir and wants you to participate in the Alumni Men's Choir which meets every Tuesday Night at the Boy Choir House begining in September at 7:30 PM. 2011 marks the 53rd season of the Atlanta Boy Choir. Throughout those great years, thousands of boys have passed through our doors young and not sure of what lay in store for them upon entering; older, wiser and ready for the next chapter of their lives upon exiting. Many of you continued singing into your adult years. Some are teachers, attorneys, physicians, accountants, scientists, husbands or fathers; but all are better equipped as young men because of your experience in the Atlanta Boy Choir.
This group represents those boys, now men, who were privileged to sing with the Atlanta Boy Choir. We continue to adhere to a life-long appreciation of music, an abiding love of beauty, a keen sense of respect for ourselves and others, and we remain leaders in our families, our communities, and the world.
